Some moments are just meant to be cherished and wedding is just one of them. Wedding Photographer forms an integral part of the celebration hence before you decide on the wedding planning you need to arrange for a special wedding photographer. Wedding Photography represents the the great moments of joy and happiness of the celebrations. Facts indicate that the practice of wedding photography has began in the year 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. Though some other facts indicate that the earlier instances of photograph, began in 1840 with the wedding ceremony of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert.

Its important to note that during those it was quite hard to find a good photographer while the rates too were quite high and not affordable for the common man. However, the etiquettes of wedding photography went through a great change with people posing in their formal suits. From the later half of the 19th century, people posed for during the wedding photos by wearing best dresses. Towards the late 1860s, more couples started posing in their wedding attires and furthermore hired a photographer to the wedding venue. Wedding Party Photographer also became a norm with the passage of time as more people realized the importance of the pictorial representation.

However, in the early days, due to heavy weight of the wedding equipment and appropriate lighting problems wedding photography was largely restricted to a studio. But from 1880, with the improvement of technology, wedding photo graphs were undertaken at home and on the wedding locations be it a hotel, beach or banquet halls. Also with the advent of photography, Wedding albums became more popular towards the 1880s, and the photographer would sometimes include the wedding party photos in the wedding albums.

Towards the commencement of the 20th century, color photography was the order of the day but still it was quite expensive at that time hence black and white photography was the norm. Before you embark on the different aspects of wedding images make sure that there's atleast one family photograph. Also you need to find suitable location on the wedding day where you can take proper pictures of the aisle, the dais where the bride and bride groom would be seated together.
